Still trying to catch up on the whole story of things, but so far what I'm seeing is pretty good. They are very realistic reactions to something like that. I don't know if you're falling back on real experiences or what, but it certainly hit me. I'm not really all that clear with Requiem yet (I have a starting character in the Order, which values human emotion very much, or so I'm told) but it sounds to me that D'or was using the "no love" thing as an excuse. Az's reaction to the whole, "I can't possibly love you" type answer I think would cause that kinda of reaction. I know it did something like that to me. I haven't read through everything yet, but am I correct in assuming Az is basically disowned by her family? If she did find something and tear into her father (as I assume he probably did to her?) what would D'or do to keep her from continuing the spiral path? Let me know if I totally confused something.
