It is Mother's Day, so I will not say this to your face:
I am 5'10" and 133 pounds. That "roll of fat" on my stomach? Is normal, healthy weight, not some demonic entity that must be exorcised.

I judge myself about as harshly as your mom judged you -- I don't like the pudge I have on my stomach, though I know I'm not even close to being overweight (my stomach is one of the places I tend to gain most easily, though, and I'm often a clothing size or two bigger in the waist than everywhere else) -- but there's no excuse for a mother to treat her daughter that way.
