Ah, domestic bliss
I figured it was about time I shared The Mayo Cake recipe with everyone, since people seem to like it.

Also - and somewhat pertinent to the food theme I have going - I've figured out why I lose so much weight at my parents' place. Whereas Pat's family plans meals to serve near-exactly the number of people they want to feed, with minimal leftovers, my family seems to cook food for two nights, leaving plates and plates of leftovers behind. I get bored of leftovers - I had it yesterday; why have it today? So I eat less food, wishing for something "new" and "exciting" (relative to my recent plates, anyway).
Yeah. I can work around that.
