For Rose:

You know, it probably should have occurred to me before you sent the gift that border services would be really interested in it, but it got through, so it's okay.

This makes me quite curious about what the gift in question was :P :D.

A copy of Alan Moore's Lost Girls, which contains some rather...interesting...pictoral depictions, especially in the third volume. I have to admit the thought had occurred to me too, but I'm glad it made it through. Were any of the pages sticky? ;)

Also, you have no idea how tempted I was to write "Porny porny porn porn porn!" on the customs form under "Contents". :D

I know a customs officer who actually views such "porny porny porn porn porn" as part of his job a regular basis. At least, that's what he used to do. No idea what he's up to now.

So, if Alex has a copy of Lost Girls now, and Alex lives back at home with her family, does this mean that Alex's sister can borrow Alex's copy and return my girlfriend's copy to her so that I can borrow it and finish reading it at last?

Hahah, now I remember what I wanted to buy at Amazon . . . not that I CAN anymore. *thinks* Now is the time to harass Mike about it . . .
