GOD DAMN IT.

Now I want to run (actually, play in) a Dragon-Blooded war-time game.

First and Forsaken Lion manages to create a Shadowland large enough to attack the Blessed Isle from. The Dragon-Blooded unite (although rather a lot also flee) to try and take down this threat.

It could be a neat gritty-warfare type game, with the occasional big battle. Other options include messengers for the various talons, scouts, or travelers looking to recruit others to help in the crusade.
